ALPHA KAPPA PSI- THETA

The Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Oregon State University was established in 1914 on May 30th. We are currently 32 members strong and are centered on our core values of brotherhood, unity, service, knowledge and integrity. Although we are a, “co-ed business fraternity” we have members from the College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts and many others. We pride ourselves on our diversity and acceptance of all applications regardless of major.
Throughout the year our chapter conducts professional, service, and social events catered to what our member’s value. This year alone we hosted multiple guest speakers, workshops, as well as a trip to the Columbia Sportswear HQ in Portland, OR. We also work closely with our community, regularly volunteering at Heartland Humane Society and Jackson Street Youth. Most liked of all are our social events and interactive pledge process. Every year we go on both a Ski and Beach Trip and these are always the highlight of the year. We also do things closer to home such as BBQs, guys/girls night, big/little socials and movie nights. The best thing about AKPsi at Theta is having a great group of people to hang out with.
Unlike most traditional Greek Sororities and Fraternities, we offer the Rush process during Fall, Winter and Spring Terms every year! During the first two weeks of every term you will find us actively recruiting around campus. We table in Austin and the Learning Innovation Center, host information sessions, as well as post flyers all over campus with a schedule of our Rush events.
